Demographics and Psychographics! 1) What information do media companies use to create a demographic profile of their audience? Media creators use demographic profiles to identify and group their target audience. A demographic audience profile categorises people based on factors such as age, gender, income, education, and occupation. 2) Why are media companies and advertisers increasingly using audience profiling and not just demographics ? Customers' wants and purchasing patterns are becoming harder to understand as they have more access to information. Businesses can precisely allocate their marketing resources by using audience profiling, which adheres to the four aforementioned principles. 3) What psychographic group or groups do YOU belong in? Think about your own interests and lifestyle and explain your decision. Remember, you may fit into two or three different groups!  I think that i'm an explorer as i like to try new things and  i have interest in creativity su

Camera movement and editing

CAMERA MOVEMENT AND EDITING 1) Pick three  aspects of  camera movement  in the Minority Report clip. Identify the type of camera movement and write about why the director chose to use that camera movement in the scene and what effect it has on the audience. The camera movement at the beginning of the scene is slow and focused on the newspaper where the heading keeps on changing and the reader is seen reading a heading about a passenger on the train seated in front of him and realizes that he is WANTED at 0.29 second the use of juxtaposition and zoom camera movement is used where the focus is on the newspaper and makes the audience feel confused although interested on what will happen to the character and why he is wanted and may think that something isn't right.  At 0.43 seconds the Wanted character realizes that the passenger has noticed him so he exports himself out of the train at the next stop and making his way to the exit however at 0.50 handheld camera technique  is used

It’s vital that this is accurate across all your subjects at GCSE level. For your creative work, the fruit bowl is brilliant but could do with a sentence or two written to explain or justify your work – e.g. explaining the choice of colour palette and the effect you hope this will have on the audience.  LR: Create a new blogpost on your Media blog called ‘Blog feedback and Learner Response’.
