WWW: This is an excellent start to GCSE Media – well done! I’m delighted to hear you are interested in the creative side of media (Photoshop, editing) and that you’re aiming for a top grade. Your fruit bowl is stunning and captures that vibrant, fruity palette perfectly. Keep up the good work!
EBI: One thing to keep an eye on is your written English e.g. there/their/they’re. It’s vital that this is accurate across all your subjects at GCSE level. For your creative work, the fruit bowl is brilliant but could do with a sentence or two written to explain or justify your work – e.g. explaining the choice of colour palette and the effect you hope this will have on the audience.
LR: Create a new blogpost on your Media blog called ‘Blog feedback and Learner Response’. Copy and paste this WWW/EBI feedback into your blogpost then complete the LR tasks/questions below.
Reflect on your first month of Media. What do you feel is your strongest piece of work so far? What is your weakest? What specific skills or knowledge do you need to develop over the rest of the course?
